Super Hot Ultra Cool BMW 7 Series Spotted (2011 BMW M7)
The kind folks at MotorTips have stumbled upon some spyshots of what appears to be the hottest 7 series sedan ever. Based on the upcoming F01 platform, this quad-exhaust-having monster will blow the socks off the S63 AMG and head straight for the throat of the S65 AMG. BMW had been adamant in the past about using the “M” badge sparingly, but that no longer appears to be the case. It’s not just an M3, M5, M6, and M coupe anymore; no we can expect to see M7, X5 M, and X6 M. I think I’m gonna be sick just thinking about “M” badged SUVs….
Speculation has it that power for the M7 will come from a twin-turbo V12, just like the S65. We don’t have much more info on the M7 at this point, but we do have a couple more shots of it lurking around the dark in Germany, after the jump.
It looks like BMW isn’t content to leave the specialized niches like AWD and performance versions to Merc and Audi anymore. Watch out world, the F01 is coming.
