Picture Of The Day: Phaeton Reels In Zed

350zphaeton

If you’re driving a Zed car, especially a newer 350Z, at your local track day, the last thing you want to see is a 5,200 lb luxury sedan filling up your mirrors. Unforunately, for this particular Zed driver, he’s got Jack Baruth behind him in a Volkswagen Phaeton. And I’m pretty sure it’s the V8 model, not the W12. Ouch. [SSL]

  2. gaaaa hahaha this just goes to show that VW > Nissan, right?

That sure looks like a Nismo S-Tune 350Z, though. That’s so embarrassing.

  3. In fairness to the Z driver, it was pretty cold and miserable that day… I think that was taken in November of 2007. On days like that, it can be tough to keep R-comps up to temp. I think that on an eighty-degree day I’d have never caught and passed him.
