I have something of a affixation on Datsuns right now, especially the 510. It’s not healthy. At all. I already have 2 cars and yet I’m catching myself convincing friends and family that 3 or 4 cars is perfectly reasonable for a single person. All so that I can justify buying this high, high mileage Mazda MX-6 or a nice Datsun 510. Not that I need, or even have use for, either – I just want them because I think they’re cool. It’s not like they’re expensive either, so what’s the worst that could happen?
The difficulty really lies in parking that many vehicles, but that’s hardly the end of the world.
Speaking of Datsun 510s, I’ve found the video of a burnout. A burnout committed by a car that is actively sending me further into the depths of Datsun obsession. I’m not saying I’m crazy (or proficient) enough to attempt something like this, but owning a car that is such a carte blanche kind of turns me on, I’m not gonna lie. Let the smoke show begin!

My first car was a 1972 Datsun 510 wagon. The one time I drove it on public roads it was a magnificient disapointment. And yet, I will have another one some day. Oh yes, I will.
