Top Gear Magazine Announces 2009 Cars of the Year – We Judge Them

Since CarEnvy.ca hasn’t finalized its 2009 Cars of the Year, the second best publication around, Top Gear Magazine, will have to do for now. Their criteria are a little different than ours, and so are their categories, but we still value their opinion. Why? Because we have a subscription and the 1.5 centimetre thick, $13 magazines are worth it every penny, believe it or not. Also, unlike our awards, car companies actually care if they win the TG honours. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a CarEnvy award plastered on an advertisement. TG award? Definitely.

Pixelklinik’s Flikr Treasure Chest

Apparently, Germany is a hotspot for both high-quality photographers and high-quality automobiles with which to photograph. Dusseldorf, in particular, is some kind of hidden gem. I’ve never been to DDorf but now a trip may be in order.

Follow the link to check out a Flikr account from a gentleman who goes by the moniker “Pixelklinik”. He has amassed a collection of exotic car photographs that crippled my legs with admiration.

I mean seriously, how is it fair that one man has seen an Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, DBS Volante, Bugatti EB110, Veyron Grand Sport, Diablo VT 6.0 SE, Ultima GTR, Koenigsegg CCXR, Porsche 959, Farbio GTS, and a Mosler MT900 GTR?
