Confirming our beliefs that the interior couldn’t possibly be worse than the exterior of the Panamera, Porsche released ten pictures today of their new sedan’s innards. As you can see from the pictures, Porsche has gone with a kind of Vertu theme for the centre console. This console actually runs the entire length of the interior and serves to separate the rear seats as well as the front ones. You’ll also notice that there are speakers everywhere you look. That’s because the Panamera is going to be available with a 16-speaker, 1000W Burmester sound system.

The new Panamera will be available with Porsche’s new 7-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox or a 6-speed manual. Using PDK vaults the 400 hp PanameraS to 100 km/h in the low 5 second range. The Panamera S is expected to hit Canadian dealerships at a price around $100,000 before you tick any of the options boxes. The Turbo version should be significantly more expensive due to its AWD system and those two little turbochargers that add another 100 hp on. If this sounds a little rich for you, there will be a V6, hybrid, and diesel options available a year or two after the S and Turbo hit the scene.

Not that the Rapide, Quattoporte, or CLS care about any of this interior nonsense. They all have exterior beauty. It’s going to take quite the effort for someone to overlook those three and get inside the Panamera.

The rest of the gallery is after the jump.
