2010 Ferrari F10

Earlier today, Scuderia Ferrari unveiled their 2010 Formula One championship contender, which they’ve named the F10 in firm hopes of channeling some of their illustrious past victory. Will this herald a return to winning ways for the beleaguered team? We know about as much as you do on that score. Follow the jump for more, including a full gallery. Oh, and also, a video of something that isn’t quite the 2010 Mercedes Grand Prix car.

What you’re viewing above is a video of the 2010 Mercedes GP Petronas team lineup, taken at the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart earlier today. Both drivers and car are sporting the new team livery as well. However, it’s not yet the launch of their official 2010 contender, which is still yet to come.

As for Ferrari, the unveiling of the new car at Maranello was an emotional one for all parties involved. Beyond a doubt, it’s fantastic to see Felipe Massa back, and despite (or perhaps because of) last year’s lacklustre performances, we look forward to great things from both teams in the season yet to come.

Here’s an interesting comparison of this year’s F10 and last year’s F60.

The fun starts March 14th in Bahrain. Set your DVRs and VCRs now.
